I am a PhD candidate in Psychology (area: Development and Psychopathology), at the University of Minho (Portugal) and University of Lille (France), and a Member of the Portuguese Psychologists Association (CP 25394). My research is focused on empathy development in adolescence, exploring the potential sociocognitive and emotional factors that may impact this ability.
I completed my Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Beira Interior in 2017 and my Master's in Clinical and Health Psychology at the University of Porto in 2019.
I have research experience in the area of neuropsychophysiology (EEG and fMRI experiments) and sociocognitive development in infancy and adolescence. Some of my skills involve planning and organisation, critical thinking, time management, teamwork, and a great interest in constant learning. Other competences include data collection, processing, and analysis (statistical, EEG), scientific writing, experimental protocols design, and knowledge on SPSS and E-Prime.
